Calling for vendors, sponsors, performers, buskers and volunteers!Note: 2024 applications for vendors and performers will be accepted as of February 1, 2024 .Last year the Faire attracted more than 11,000 visitors in a single day. We anticipate more of the same this year.
An event of this size involves lots of people coming together to make it happen. We need vendors to sell products or food. We need buskers to add colour and activity. We need volunteers to help make things run smoothly. And we need sponsors to help cover the costs of running a free, family-oriented event.

Sponsor Information

The Fergus Medieval Faire is an annual free family-oriented event that takes place throughout downtown Fergus. Last year the Faire attracted more than 11,000 visitors to the downtown core, bringing increased revenue to local restaurants and shops as well as guests to the local accommodation businesses. Local stores report repeat business as visitors return for Christmas shopping. This year the 4th Fergus Medieval Faire takes place on July 20, 2024. Activities are located throughout downtown Fergus. It will encompass Beattie Park, Templin Garden, the Fergus Grand Theatre, the ForgeX Training building and parts of the Marketplace parking lot, Menzie’s Lane, Saint Andrews Steet, Provost Lane and the Provost Lane parking lot.
There is no revenue from ticket sales – as an open-street event there are too many points of entrance to control access – and we rely on local sponsors and grants to fund it.
Sponsorships offer a great opportunity for you to participate in one of downtown Fergus’ most successful events, gain positive exposure in the community and reach new markets. You may choose to sponsor a specific activity of the Fergus Medieval Faire (activity list coming soon) or be a general sponsor (minimum $450.00).
